SHARE Facilitator

The Christian Advocacy Society of Greater Vancouver invites applications for SHARE Facilitator. This position is part-time.

S.H.A.R.E. (sexual health and relationship education) provides presentations to youth in schools and youth groups in Metro Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and New Westminster. The presentations are designed to equip students and the youth to understand the impacts of sexual activity and evaluate their choices.

Under the direction of the Community Education Coordinator, the SHARE Facilitator will assist in giving presentations to youth in schools and youth groups in Metro Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and New Westminster. They will conduct research and update the SHARE curriculum with current statistics and relevant information.

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree or training in a related field and exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with teaching or reproductive health education is an asset. Also, preference will be given to candidates who are comfortable with public speaking.

The successful candidate will affirm an evangelical doctrinal statement and exhibit a strong dedication to the sanctity of life. This position will require the use of one’s personal vehicle.

Our ministries are dedicated to providing life-affirming help and resources for women facing an unplanned pregnancy, grief after abortion, domestic abuse and sexual assault. We are governed by the Christian Advocacy Society of Greater Vancouver.
